Hamilton is experiencing a period of progressive urban revitalization based on a growing interest in arts and culture, history and heritage, and the actions of entrepreneurs as catalysts of community change. The We Are Cities campaign comes at a time when Hamilton is re-emerging as a dynamic midsize city that offers an attractive alternative to larger, higher cost urban centres. Amid this renewal are questions regarding how we wish to prepare for and accommodate population and employment growth. What is Hamilton’s future role in our regional economy and how do we organize ourselves for success? We’ll look for answers at our local roundtable discussion.
