Kitchener-Waterloo has quickly become one of the most important urban centres in Canada and with this growth comes a need to adapt to the growing needs and opportunities of the community. In partnership with Evergreen Canada, the J.W. McConnell Foundation, and architext, Scaled Purpose is hosting a roundtable in KW as a part of a nation-wide effort to rally ideas and engagement on how Canadian cities can chart a path towards intentional growth to achieve sustainability, resilience, and social & cultural prosperity.

We are looking for individuals and organizations with ideas on how cities in Canada can grow into the cities we want. In K-W, we want to tap into the unique perspectives of the role of transit in economic and environmental sustainability, and the role of a growing technology sector to enable social and cultural innovation, among many other views on how the lessons learned locally can translate nationally.

Your ideas and actions will inform a national network of individuals and organizations co-creating our collective urban future. The partners involved have a unique opportunity to translate individual voices into national ideas, and ultimately projects for cities. Please join us on March 12th to contribute to this dialogue.

About Scaled Purpose: Scaled Purpose is a management consultancy focused on scaling the impact of organizations devoted to social and environmental sustainability through strategic planning, coalition building, and program design.
