Are you interested in exploring city building from the perspective of building communities? Join us in the heart of an east end community that is in the midst of change.

This roundtable will be about bringing community development out of the shadows of city building conversations. Acknowledging that active cities are often animated by people in a community and being active requires a certain level of privilege. The time and freedom to attend public events and meetings (like this one) is a simple example of this.

How do we create equitable opportunities for people to contribute to city building in a meaningful way? Are you curious and excited about a roundtable on the intersection of community development and city building? Come.

Location: Just East of Greenwood Ave , The Social Gardener is a warm and welcoming Fair Trade cafe within the Riverdale Hub, a hub for ideas and a centre for change.
