Ottawa is buzzing with energy and activity - infrastructure dollars will be pumped into the National Arts Centre, the Museum of Science and Nature, LeBreton Flats, and Arts Court. The redevelopment of the old Domtar lands at Chaudiere Falls has been approved and the light rail project is underway. The flurry of infrastructure activity is parralleled by citizens across the city who are engaged in making their city livable, strong, and happy. Ottawa is on the cusp of great things.

How might Ottawa shape its future to be a vibrant and resilient home for all of its people and for the long-term? Citizens Academy is pleased to be hosting conversations with inspired Ottawans about the opportunities that lay ahead. Your ideas and actions will inform a national on-line and in-person network of individuals and organizations interested in co-creating urban resiliency.

Light refreshments provided. Support provided by various organizations including University of Ottawa, The Hub, and The Capital Urbanism Lab at the National Capital Commission.
